I coach everyday adults — desk-bound professionals, busy parents, weekend rec-sports players — to rebuild strength, power, and athletic movement, so your body says “yes” to the hike, the pickup game, or chasing your kid.
My clients are regular people. Many haven’t trained consistently in years. Some used to play sports and miss feeling capable. Others have never felt strong and want to start. What they share is the goal: a body that feels strong, mobile, and ready for whatever life asks.
Most people jump straight to intensity — sprints, boot camps, max effort everything — and end up sore, hurt, or burned out. I build you up in order, and train in focused cycles instead of trying to improve everything at once.
I train with everything — and I work with whatever is accessible to you. The goal is to take what you’ve got and get the most out of it. Kettlebells are fun, affordable, and easy to use at home, so they’re a great place to start. But if you have a gym with barbells, dumbbells, machines, and other tools, even better. Wherever you’re training, I’ll build the program around your equipment.
Every path starts with a free call so we can figure out where you are, what you want, and which option actually fits. No pressure.
A structured rebuild for people ready to get strong and move well again, with my eyes on your progress.
Done-with-you sessions in Northridge, with hands-on coaching, cues, and accountability.
Personalized programming and form feedback, wherever you live and whatever your schedule looks like.
I’m a personal trainer and strength coach based in Northridge, in the San Fernando Valley. I help everyday adults get strong, build real athletic movement, and trust their bodies again.
I’ve been a Type 1 diabetic since I was 10. Growing up managing a body with real limits taught me early that capacity is something you build and protect on purpose. It’s a big part of why I coach the way I do: patient, structured, and built around what your body can handle today.
I’ve tried the “train everything at once” approach myself. I ended up beat up, fatigued, and progressing unevenly. Now I use focused training cycles — and that’s the same approach I use with clients.
Outside the gym I’m always testing, learning, and sharing what I find on Instagram @naveedsperspective.
A relaxed conversation about your goals, history, and what’s been getting in the way.
I’ll tell you honestly whether coaching makes sense and which option suits you best.
You get a clear plan, a first phase to focus on, and a coach in your corner.
No. That’s exactly who I work with. We start where you are, build a base first, and progress at a pace your body can handle.
Not at all. Plenty of my clients just want to feel strong, mobile, and capable in everyday life, or play recreational sports without getting hurt.
It depends on the option you choose. In-person sessions are based in Northridge. For online coaching, we build around whatever you have access to — a full gym, a few dumbbells, or a kettlebell and some space at home.
I do — I’ve lived with Type 1 diabetes since age 10. That said, I’m a coach, not a medical provider, so please check with your doctor before starting a new program.
We talk about your goals, training history, schedule, and any injuries or limits. If it looks like a good fit, I’ll walk you through how coaching works. If it’s not, I’ll tell you that too.
It depends on the format and your goals. We’ll cover pricing on the call so you get a straight answer that fits your situation.
Free, no-pressure intro call. Come with your goals and questions, and we’ll figure out the best next step together.
